Valette realized something when the male spoke about 'his pack'. Her hazel green eyes traveled towards the other bleeding male, this Valour. He was Clay's friend, which he made while he was away, clearly. Things started to fall into place for the female, or at least, she assumed. Her eyes traveled to Clay. He had went there in panic, not to them. So then... it couldn't be those nightwalkers pack right? Or had her son found comfort there she hadn't been able to give him? Valette almost missed Greyback's words. "Of course," she agreed.

It seemed that everyone wanted Valour to stay except for himself. What made him want to decline a kind offer like that? Valette couldn't help herself and asked; "What pack are you from? Are you from the Nightwalkers?" She looked at Clay, with confusion in her eyes. Though she wasn't linking the two romantically - since that was something she didn't even think possible - Valette was not complete oblivious. There was suspicion again and so many questions, Clay had warned her for the Nightwalkers. They were dangerous. That was why she thought the male might not be from another pack, but... Clay had never mentioned any other pack besides the night walkers. She was not letting him in before getting an answer.
