Kigipigak settles in to watch the boys. Sakhmet rests nearby. While Akkuma eats, Kigipigak brings one of the fatter rabbits to her and after a kiss to her cheek (out of view of their sons), he returns to where he had left Akkuma with his meal.

It is lightly plucked at. Perhaps the boy is more fond of what is known, and misses the fish of the river. He s0unds distracted with his question and Kigipigak has half a mind to tell him, eat!

Instead, he entertains thoughts of Moonglow.
