@Liri, @Sindri, @Dulce, @Tobi, @Chai + any wolves interested in Kaistleoki ❤
One post per character thread, unless newer wolves join in or anyone has IC questions that Eve needs to address. This is to announce the IC creation of the Kaistleoki group!
Members may now sign up under the Pledged member group via account -> Manage Groups -> Pledged once they have posted here. Make sure to list that they're pledged to Kaistleoki. Thank you all for being interested in this cute pack! I'm looking forward to our future shenanigans.
We'll need 10+ archived threads towards forming. These include recruitment, pack activities, patrols/marking territory, etc! Members are more than welcomed to assist with these. I'll be posting more soon once I catch up with current replies. ❤

Whitefish River is a breath of fresh air.
His heart longs for it, misses it, and the people that have gathered around him. Arriving back here makes him light with joy. So much has happened in the short visit to Easthollow. Having found a woman named Aurë being attacked, the bear was delayed in his return. Yet, it steels his resolve. It makes him confident.
This is the right move. This will succeed.
The moment Evergreen grows nearer, the happier the bear becomes. Anxiety is overtaken by excitement. His steps are steady and sure. Blood caked fur and minor injury ignored. Home. He feels it in his heart. This is his home. These are his people, and he will do right by and for them.
Kaistleoki, is the name he decides on. It's been a lingering thought in the back of his head. A combination of his family, of those he has lost but are with him undoubtedly in spirit. This will be partly in their honor, for he fulfills their dream.
The sun has long set, the evening air cool. And Evergreen lifts his head, parts his lips, and stakes his claim. 'Kaistleoki,' his call chants, and encourages the camp to howl with him.
Home.
Once they have all gathered, the bear explains his plans, his thoughts on how the pack should be run and he listens carefully to each of them... hopeful and nervous all the same. His heart dances with the wish that this will be theirs just as much as it is his.
Working on wrapping up current threads!

He had been gone a while but this time the healer was not worried, he had those he had gathered here and so he would return. She was, in a way, responsible for the remaining canines. She did not mind, in fact, she enjoyed it and though she was the smallest of, well, everyone she patrolled the borders of their camp. She was not a scout but she looked over the area and made mental notes to tell her friend about when he got back, she was not a skilled hunter but she knew how to fish. So she stalked their caches with, well obviously, fish.
His call was what caused her to stop the patrol she was trying to do, she knew that tone. She had helped with this before, when she sister had called everyone together to announce her intentions to form a pack. She lifted her voice to his, chanting with him before she moved to meet him. This was their home. This was theirs.
When she caught sight of him she resisted the urge to greet him with her usual brush of fur on fur but that intention fell away when she saw the blood caked onto his fur. She ran to him though she was smiling, worry covered her features. She pressed her nose into his shoulder before she looked over the bear of a man, making sure all this blood was not his own. It wasn't thankfully, but what had he been doing?
welcome back she breathed. hey tail swaying but she then gave him a pointed look. "you should let me fix you up before you call everyone but.. hut.. well.. guess its too late now." she gave a soft laugh as she sat beside him, wanting amd waiting to hear everthing he had to say

Tobias grew near as the bear called. He had agreed to join this group in the spur of the moment, not entirely sure if it would really hold what he was longing for, but he was willing to try. Willing to give life a shot in these new lands and help a friendly man start up his own life. Something about it seemed exciting, perhaps it was because he had only ever joined packs in the past and never attempted starting something with a group that he could consider his own.
A woman came rushing to the call, joining in on the chant. It was enough of a hint for him to join the chorus that would soon fill the air as they made the claim over their new home...his new home. An infectious grin settled on his face as he sat back and listened. There were several other faces around, surely people he would soon get to know in the coming days.

Dulce is out of the territory and won't be participating. Just wanted to get her voice in there!
It had been a full day since Dulce's parting from the territory. In that time, she'd only gone far enough to be noticed, though she did remain within earshot. They'd all been awaiting the call of their leader and it seemed that he was finally ready to make it. Dulce, who was in the middle of a trot, stopped and pivoted so that she was facing back toward home. Evergreen's call sounded first, then came Sindri, and soon a third came to complete the choir. A smirk fell upon her maw as she lifted her own snout and sang a melody of her own.

Destiny had found her. Chai was proud to say that there was no looking back. Her time in Shadewood Keep was over, and now she could start fresh with Kaistleoki. It wasn't that her experience in the Keep was necessarily bad. Rather, it boiled down to the fact that it was not the right fit for her. She would not be ruled by such a dark and brooding leader, who enforced such constraining laws. She had seen the same change that Morgan and Kukutux had, and she was wise enough to get out while she could.
As Evergreen's voice filled the air, proclaiming their stake on this land, her thoughts went to the pair of ex-Keep wolves. They weren't here...she had gone on ahead to choose her own path. During their parting, they wished one another well. Should they stay by the Tokota, she had promised to come visit now and again. She had extended the same welcome to them too. Chai knew Evergreen would not turn away two good wolves such as them, wolves who had ran away from that dark forest with her. She came running to join those gathered, tail held up high joyously. In amongst them she weaved loosely, passing by close enough to each of them, should they wish, to intermingle their scents. Slipping her eyes closed she exposed her throat while tipping her head back, adding her soprano voice to the song they had created. It all felt so right.

*pops in supes late* sorry guys, been having some car trouble that yanked me away from the site for a min, I'm gonna go ahead and pretend this is after she returns from Broken Antler Fen
A new beginning awaited, the second chance Vangard had proclaimed was hers - a story she would write.
From what she'd gathered she'd been not only a tracker and healer but a leader. It seemed unfathomable looking at her but once she'd presided over a group that even outranked Evergreen's. But as the waif melted from the woodworks, materializing with a glint of relief in her eyes as they lighted upon the gentle-natured brute, Liri could see only one wolf she wished to follow.
Let it go; let her go.
Liri, Olvida, or someone else - this was where she wanted to be, these were the wolves she wanted to be with. She siddled in, creeping forward from the fringes to sit amongst her newfound pack, no longer wishing to haunt as a ghost.
She offered Evergreen a beaming smile feeling immensely proud to have seen his encampment grow from the pair of them to the clustering of lupines that now surrounded her. Her howl rent the air, just as joyous and possessive as the rest, claiming that this was their home, her home.
"i'll keep you here when I lose my mind."
Oh where was these lands he spoke of... She knew she should have stuck by Evergreen's side, but the young woman didn't want to come off as clingy and certainly wanted to come off as capable of handling herself. With a nose glued to the ground, she searched for his scent - it was everywhere. Dang it all. She was not a skilled tracker (not yet at least) and couldn't as easily pick out the freshest path that the bear-like man had taken. Were these the lands he chose as their new home even? It had to be... he was all over the place. This was also that small scent of a pack that lingered on his pelt when they met. This had to be the place!
As the sun settled over the trees, worry tugged at her chest as she felt concern for being in the wrong place; but the familiar tones of his vocals rang out through the winds, calling those she would soon call family to gather.
Over boulders, under logs, she slithered between obstacles with as much grace as a deer. Long legs carrying her fast through the brush with a steady pace. Eyes closed every now and then as she came a little too close to some branches, but had no time to spare to avoid them - through the brush it was with every glide of her feet! Bursting through the scene, she finally stopped, immediately so. Pink tongue lolling out from between pearly whites as she tried to catch her breath.
She had no breath to sing with them rest of them, but instead enjoyed their company. Looking around at each face, memorizing them while her chest heaved in desperation to catch up with her breath. She was about to give Evergreen a side sly look, thinking all that were here were females in order to tease the male - but her plan was thwarted by the one other male in their group. Dang it all. Teasing would have to be done some other way. Meanwhile her disheveled fur, twigs and leaves stuck within staggered about from her jaunt in the woods didn't make her one to tease someone else... at least this time she wasn't covered in berry juices.

Thank goodness. She breathed out before breaking out into a sprint into the direction with which the meeting would take place. Thankfully Reiko wasn't too far, but it was still long enough away if she wanted to be prompt.
