set during laurel's outing, for aunt @Indra (and brothers if you want!)

This world was pretty shit so far. Wherever he tried to go, he was stopped by walls or paws or other shitty things that wanted to limit his abilities to feel and taste the crap out of this world. Super lame! Charles just wanted to experience it all. And now the milk machine was gone for reasons unknown that were probably fucking bullshit. Well, fuck his life. Where was the complaint cabinet so he could file a huge-ass complaint? He was pretty sure that they hadn't said anything about any of this shit in the brochure!

Loud mewls of complaint burst forward into his aunt's face but at the lack of response, he started waddling over to her teats 'cause if the OG milkshakes weren't anywhere near, maybe he could find some elsewhere.

charles cracks me up! lol <3

charles was the loudest, by far, of the three boys. while riley made noise occasionally – squeaks and squeals – it was the chocolate and ivory boy who managed to cause the most uproar in the family den. louie’s ears had not yet reached their full capability. hearing was still muffled, but each passing day granted him with more ability than he’d had before. it hadn’t taken long before the dark child wished that his hearing could revert back to when he had been nothing more than a blind and deaf loaf of a puppy.

it was the noisy sound of his brother that had stirred him from a peaceful nap. louie still could not see well; everything took the shape of an oddly colored blob. there wasn’t much there for him to go off of. he stumbled forward with a sleepy expression and poked around with his nose for signs of his siblings or one of the others who frequented the den site.

indra sat in a huddled, dumbfounded trance since what she had done that morning. her eyes were open, but the redleaf reclined there in the den unseeing. the children were noted, but indra did not outwardly respond to any of them.

how could she have done that? her stomach pitted and she felt sick. she had almost killed them. she was going to kill them, she had every intention of drowning them. there was something wrong with her; she was sick, and she shouldn't be around them.

charles' mewls were only dimly registered as he traipsed about her. she knew louie was present and she could not even bring herself to look at riley. charles had started to nudge along her flank in the hopes to nurse while indra stared unblinkingly at some corner of the den -- shellshocked and grieving the immorality of what she had almost done.

Some shit was going on with the milk bar. No matter how hard he pressed the fur or sucked the teats, nothing came out. Charles squealed loudly, clearly very upset with all of this. Impatiently he gave up and started to squirm around.

Eventually he bumped into his sibling with a loud annoyed squeal. Rude! A dude's walking here, y'know! He batted a paw at his sibling, ready for some fighting.

there was a squeal from charles that stiffened the limbs of louie and forced him into a stance that looked… almost like that of a predator waiting to strike. then, his brother’s feet batted against him and struck underneath his chin. a soft oof sounded from the dark young pup before he threw his head forward in an attempt to headbutt whatever it was that was assaulting him. louie was focused enough on his brother that he did not realize their aunt was only a foot or so away. her disturbed silence had cast an invisibility barrier over her. to the dark boy, her coat colors melted perfectly with the den walls. she might as well have not existed at all.

aggressively, louie pushed his nose forward and nudged at the underside of charles. he might not have been able to see much of what he was doing, but he could make out the ivory and chocolate coloration that filled his vision. he knew the scent to belong to one of his siblings. louie was not yet old enough to understand that his roughness could possibly hurt those around him. he would not learn that lesson for a very long time.

<3 skip me going forward!

she sat there despondent, her gaze on the wall and mind elsewhere. charlie sussed about her thin ribs for any sustenance, and eventually gave up entirely. his aunt's body may well be corporeal and before him, but her mind was very far away: over and over she rethought her dark enterprise, each time sinking deeper into mental gloom.

not even the rough crack of louie's skull on flesh stirred her; indra was here, but indra was gone.

While Charles thought he looked pretty much like a pro wrestling slamdunking his opponent, in fact his paws batting made little difference. Just like his brother poking his nose underneath him didn't do much. Which, once more, so rude. Charles cried out indignantly as he was mildly flipped over, though it did not cause him any pain. He tried shoving his paw into his brother's mouth - that'd show him!

charles found success in cramming his large puppy paw into louie’s mouth. the dark child attempted to open and close his jaws with confusion at the large obstruction that had taken place there. his head jerked backwards, surprised at the invasion. the sound of charles crying out indignantly had not even phased louie. he cared very little for his sibling’s discomfort. even in his own distressed state, louie did not make a sound. his mouth continued to crack open wider, hoping that if he was able to keep it ajar for long enough, the intrusion would find a way out. all the while, he swung his head from side to side, confusion fading quickly to burning frustration.

others might have watched the puppies struggle with a gleam of amusement in their adoring gazes. not indra. she had turned to glance upon them, and saw their rounded, sack-like forms fight to topple one another -- and all that lanced through her heart was a wave of sickness.

she looked away quickly, her jaw tight. drawing her eyes closed, indra willed herself to think of anything -- anything at all but the origin of these dark puppies, and the wickedness of their petty, jealous aunt.

Aarwaaawwarar! roared the mighty pro-wrestler Charles as he finally managed to best his opponent. Success! His brother was helpless, with paw-in-mouth, and once more it was proven who was the best wrestler of them all. The crowds roared! Everyone applauded! Charles withdrew his paw from his brother's mouth and toppled backwards, falling on his back and flailing there for a bit until he managed to right himself.

All part of the plan, of course.

want to wrap this up soon? :)

sure! maybe have an updated one since they're quite a bit older now? :)

louie gagged on the forced foot inside of his mouth, choosing to chomp down after a moment of being required to hold his own against the intrusive limb. when his brother finally managed to yank the paw free, the dark child plopped back onto his rear end with an expression of intense frustration. as young as he was, this did not seem to change the way that he felt toward such inconveniences. the young jaguar regarded his sibling with a chilling glance before turning away from charles and walking toward riley.

louie was done with his rambunctious sibling. he had no reason to remain there if he was to endure the wild pressure of having feet forced into his mouth. perhaps if he were older, he would have been able to react more positively. instead, louie found a place beside riley and glowered across the den at charles.

Finally he freed his foot. Charles flopped backwards. Content at his clear victory, the child remained on the ground there, grinning (or, well, mentally at least) until he eventually forgot what he'd been doing and started to fall asleep right on the spot.
