Two Eyes Cenote Riddance!

Not too far from her was the sound of fresh water and flourishing plant life. So, she'd followed it up! Yeah! All interested, and stuff! What was going to stop her from doing it? She sure didn't see a stop, and she sure didn't hear a mouth running her off of it. With a fancy slab of sandstone pressed in her mouth, plenty shiny and plenty fancy. She kept it- all for herself, just for her, and nothing but herself. She liked it!

An elevated mound. Her, on top of it, and a dip before her paws that dropped into a thriving ecosystem. With crossed paws, one holding the sandstone in place with pressure, and the other acting as a still board, her teeth bit and grinded against the stone. It had a cooling sensation on her mouth! Her eyes stared blankly down, as if there weren't buzzing insects and bountiful plants springing from the sides of a painted cavity.

Extending her front legs forward in a stretch, her teeth clamping harder to keep her treasure safe, her hind legs shifted to feel more comfortable.

And then her treasure slipped from the uneven, sloppy pressure given by her front legs and plummeted in the hole. "Ahhw- SHIT!" She jolted to see clear and saw it bounce once on the clear ground, then plop straight into the water. WELL SCREW HER TREASURE! SHE DIDN'T WANT IT ANYWAYS! There went her pretty.
