Anyone interest in a big game hunt

Rodyn stood in a small hillock overlooking the fen. Yellow eyes honed in on the herd of deer below that were eating and lowling about. A flick of his ear at the persistent gnat that found it's way near there. Why was it always gnats that found their homes in all orifices.

He counted 5 strong. 2 weak and old doe to old and reumy not much meat on her bones and another that winter had not been kind too. She held a twisted hoof and limped about. Still formidable and still fast, but hindered at teh very least. This could make an easy meal if he had a second.

Odessia's nose led her to a healthy-looking male specimen. She kept her distance from him, observing from afar, though she made no effort to remain hidden. Her gaze followed his, spotting the crowd of ungulates below. She knew well that hunting large game could not be done alone, but she also was not willing to hunt with a stranger. The hunt required teamwork and proper pecking order.
Perhaps there was another coming to meet him. Odessia scanned the horizon, expecting to spot another wolf joining him at any moment, trailing behind the strapping scout.

Rodyn was not alone. He felt her presence before he saw her. A prickling along the side of his ruff and deep in his shoulders. He turned to look. Yellow eyes falling on the snow wolf. Smaller than him, but sturdy, she would make a fine hunting partner, if she was so willing. But not everyone was willing to hunt with a stranger.

He shifted and moved closer, quietly. Keeping an eye on the deer below. Making sure he didn't startle them. He stopped a respectable distance away and dipped his head.

Hello I'm Rodyn Ardeth. Scouting out the nearby herds. Don't suppose you'd be willing to hunt with me would ya? I'm a fair hunter. And I'll split the spoils. All I ask if for the pelt, we use them for beds in our village.
