One for the boys>=)

He's brought gifts. They're mangled and torn, but the meat fine all the same. In his teeth, he holds what he's found. Two hares hang from their feet in his mouth, and a fox tail is draped over his mighty shoulders.

He has strong wishes that this appeases their morning, as well as it to flourish their minds.
"Tokens, my brothers!"

Tokens carried by Mesen-ka.

Siatum approached with his head held aloft. His eyes were shrewd upon the familiar features of the other man. It was a jolly greeting he had offered. The princeguard did not reciprocate the expression of joy, or the tone. When he spoke, his voice was deep as a grave.

Mesen-ka, Siatum stated the name plainly before eyeing the gifts. Was there no better?

A daring smirk lifted the left side of his lips.

Their prince was distracted. He reclined on the provisional feasting couch in the company of his nomarch, a paw traced absently along the cream-tipped tail of fox about Mesen-Ka’s neck. Soft. Toula.

She existed there on his wrist- and on his mind. He was only half listening to his men and his turn to face them was delayed.

“Siatum hungers only for palace finery,” he comments, one half of his mouth lifting to show teeth and grabbing at a limp hare, though he does not bite into it.

“I will seek out the Queen tomorrow at sunset. See that I am given a moment alone with her,” he ordered. The guards would know their task is to occupy hovering mazoi, or the ladies maids who desire to pry into their courtship.

"Forgive my incompetence."
A lazy, defeated smile on his lips that dares not let it evolve into a cocky smirk, his tail directs itself up to soothe the desire to. Siatum. "I should have brought grub." In his mind, he laughs loudly!

He allows both their share, and for the fox tail, it will make a fine bed pillow. It's the want crossing Ra's steady gaze that catches Mesen-ka's attention. He's wanted it for his own, but for a paw that carefully touches its tip, he gives it up to drop at Rashepses' feet. The guard is to give him it, if its a luxury he wants. "I will bring better if this will not do." He had not been able to find better.

"You will see your moment with the Queen," he nods, situating himself carefully upon warm sands. He won't get too comfortable if he needs to be move again soon.

The princeguard hungered for more than palace finery. His eyes traced the features of the two men beside him. There was promise in their reunion. Things seemed to unfurl in their favor, when they banded themselves together. Siatum did not doubt that they would have Rashepses in a seat of power.

The prince spoke of the queen.

You will have it, he assured his brother with a stern nod. One moment now, countless others in the future. Rashepses would not be denied. Siatum would make certain of it.

How were your travels? A question for Mesen-ka.

“Rest, both of you,” in a flowing look Mesan-Ka and Siatum were acknowledged. He settled onto his back, the red tail with its slickness strung between his claws.

“In time I will send you to the coyote encampment in the South. A coronation warrants guests.” Though this was an invitation he would make on behalf of his Queen, one he was certain she would agree to, and he was left wondering about Toula's mind while the memory of her eyes haunted, and the conversation of his most trusted guardsmen slipped into tranquil ambience.
