King Elk Forest don't pretend

The tremble of his frame warned Niamh that the child might be carrying more baggage with him than she was prepared to handle- but all the same, she did not want to simply leave him to starve to death. The wounds on his muzzle needed to be treated as well, but she didn't feel comfortable pinning the boy down and cleaning the wounds for him, as she felt certain he would bolt and run from her if she did. She'd need to get a bit more trust from him before she did that...And would also want Eljay to check him over for disease as well, though he didn't smell too off to her. Still- he drooled, and as far as she knew, that could potentially mean he was disease-ridden...And she didn't want to touch the injured side of his face until she knew it wasn't communicable. 

On swaying legs he followed her, so she moved at a saunter which would allow him to keep up. "Do you have a name?" She asked softly- figuring she ought to at least get a bit of information from the kid about himself before she simply showed up at the Copse with a straggler.
