All Welcome
Weeks had passed now, and Niamh had spent the majority of her time obeying the instructions she had received from Eljay before he stopped visiting. He hadn't mentioned going to spend time with Maia, but given the fact he'd admitted that he wanted children with her, Niamh was left simply assuming that perhaps it was that time of the year and that he should just be left to enjoy his new relationship. She knew Maia and Wraen were tightly knit, as sisters, and that with Wraen's pack now established, Maia would want to be there. It was only a matter of time, she figured, before Eljay jumped ship and went to live with Maia permanently.

She wouldn't have expected for it to happen so soon, or without any warning from Eljay who- as far as Niamh knew- would be around to see both Niamh and Towhee through their pregnancies. Presently, she ran on the assumption he was needed more by Maia, and that he would be back sometime soon.

The real surprise, though, was that Towhee had still not taken one moment to check in on her healing Regent which left Niamh feeling frustrated and jaded. She and Phox had done her a favour by getting rid of Reyes, how could Towhee not see that? In part, Niamh wanted to carry on as usual, but her fractured leg had kept her still for a few weeks. Now that the swelling had gone down, she was able to put some weight on it, and began doing a little bit of exercise every day as physical therapy. She could flex her ankle and move her toes, so she thought perhaps there was still a chance she might recover substantially. She avoided putting all of her weight on it, but taking small walks away from the densite helped her regain her mobility and awaken the muscles that had begun to atrophy.
