All Welcome
When she’s been but a young thing, the captain of the crew she’d been running with had taught her a game of rockskipping. Neither of them were much good at it, but they’d had their fun. It had remained a fond memory, even through the captain’s death a month later. She’d gone on with the memory in her heart.

Corsair still played the game, but she couldn’t now. For one thing, she was settled high above the ocean, and for another, the skipping game wasn’t too fun to play when the tides were high. The rock mostly met a wave and would end up back at her feet if she was lucky. If she wasn’t, well, she’d end up with a rock to the face.

So, now she was just picking them up and dropping them off the edge, like a child who’d just discovered gravity. She watched her latest sacrifice go over the edge, slamming into a place where the wall stuck out, rolling off and hitting the ocean with a satisfying thunk She crossed her paws in front of herself, tight curls clinging to her skin with moisture. Sea spray could reach her laying form from here, so she was quite fine. Even with the chilled breeze rushing over her body.

Eti normally didn't travel too far from home. Between the cove and bluffs is where he preferred to be. Outside of their little space, was too loud, to vibrating, too grating. It hurt his sensitive ears, and it overloaded his sensitive paws. However, this didn't seem to be too bad. There wasn't much going on, on a day like this one.

Though a strange sound caught his attention from some ways away, and he traveled towards it. It was loud plunks, followed by a skittering scraping sound, as if something was moving along gravel or grating. He didn't know what it was, and it intrigued him.

So with gentle footpaws, masked warm golden eyes, he followed the sound, coming across a wolf a few months older than him. Throwing rocks into the water. He watched her for a time and then finally chuffed.

W'at you doin' Dere, Ti Fi?
