The call for him had pulled him from his place outside the den where @Atreus was healing. Crowfeather had been bound to the healing quarters. His time had been spent checking on Atreus and Aquillius. He brought them food and herbs to help them sleep. He waited outside for signs that they might need him, eager to spring at the smallest sound. 

The voice that summoned him was familiar. It rattled his mind. The shadow recalled her easily. She was made of dark fur and wild eyes. She carried her mania on her sleeve, hiding it from no one. 

The three-legged wolf padded into view. His honey eyes were squinted with concern and uncertainty.

The scent of her wafted through his nose, spiking the hair along his neck. 

Are you alright? he asked timidly.
