I love everything about this thread and Njord (x Meerkat) in general... but this little piece of writing was so sweet, it stuck out to me in particular: "Overhead, a reeling gull called. We’ve been writing these two together for over a year now(!) and it never gets old. You write with such an incredible flair for imagery, I can easily picture the scenes you describe. Reading your posts is just as immersive as watching a show or movie, just as riveting too. It breaks out some of the best of my writing in turn. I have a huge soft spot for our sappy, romantic threads but I also love that we’ve had the chance to explore other dynamics with Njord and Meerkat. They’ve gotten to weather some real hardships, story lines that could’ve easily torn them apart. I feel like there’s nothing that could truly tear them apart and I look forward to playing out this next chapter in their lives together.

I love that you took the trouble to weave Meerkat's narrative into this post. I'm a giant sucker for continuity and references like this, I feel like it deepens not just the characters but the story. This is such a heartwarming and hopeful image, perfect for their last in the game. I’m going to hold it close to my heart forever, along with all the other memories we’ve made with them over the years. It’s been such a delight to write with you through every one of their arcs. It really makes me happy, knowing they’ll still be out there somewhere, living their best life together, for many years to come.
