Valette was pleased with the hunt. She eagerly started to open up the beast and dig in. She was hungry and as the alpha she took her liberty to just eat when she wanted. However, she was not going to let her members wait. They would all join this feast together. The female noticed that Greyback sat back to wait and eat. This was the perfect example of how they worked in Easthollow. Greyback might hold the highest rank of all the non leadership wolves but he would let them eat first before he would. They didn't have a clear rank structure based on dominance. All pack mates are equal, part of their family.

Valette offered a smile when the male helped Arlette. It was great to see such size differences interact with one another. When looking back this was a good hunt. They would be able to eat from this bison for days. She watched Steph and Vespera. She was proud of her daughter as well for interacting with others more, and being helpful to the wolves that were probably not used to this. Valette could only feel overjoyed to see everyone interact and feast from this large meal. Arlette seemed to be enjoying the meat as well. She could almost vanish in the large bison's chest. She couldn't imagine how that must be for the pup.
