A call to all of those who stayed behind while the Royals left Akashingo for the great hunt. I would like my lady to get more acquainted with her peers. :D

Tadihor had noticed the silence as soon as the Royals had left the red palace. This early morning, she had waken up with the sunrise, to bathe and clean herself for the day.

Once all fresh and decorated in desert flowers, she proceeded to explore more of the palace she now called home. The bright orange sun shown through into the palace, and a gentle breeze carried many sweet scents throughout the halls.
Fellahin scooted around, taking to their tasks with care.

She came to rest in a dining room, where she would be served breakfast. After a gentle command given to a fellahin, she sat patiently, waiting for her meal.

senmut did not know tadihor well, but understood her to be purely one of their own, well-bred and loyal to those who ruled.

having sung his usual prayers to Ra at dawn, the red prince did not disappear back into the palace as was his wont, but joined the lady in a dining-area.

"the morning is beautiful, good nebet." senmut gave his own requests to the servant, and soon shells of berry-juice were brought as appetizer. "you are aware of the happenings with muat-riya?"

A handsome man draped in shades of red, with vibrant green eyes, entered the dining hall with all of the grace and poise of royalty.

As he sat at the table, Tadihor could not help but notice the gold and turquoise pendant that hung from his neck. This observation told her one thing for certain: Tadihor gave a nod, and smile, addressing the man’s greeting. Sabah el noor.” She greeted, wishing him a bright morning.

“You must be Erpa-ha. It is an honor to be in your presence.” Was she flattering him, maybe, but she meant each word, for she may be of noble blood, but humble by nature. “No. Please, enlighten me.” They could discuss this as they await the main course. She truly looked forward to any chance to gain a deeper understanding of her home.

quietly, between bites, senmut informed the lady of the happenings in muat-riya; of the green-leaf peddlers and the brutality exacted by muat-riya on one of them captured. and how that had been returned against a child, maimed now.

his appetite left him. senmut sighed. "the trials of a kingdom are this, to field endless attacks. to see blood shed. we must strike back even more harshly, lest we be sieged."

Tadihor could not help the gasps that escaped her lips. She was shocked at the violence, and even more so with a child being involved. Tears pricked the corners of her golden gaze, but she blinked them away. Her appetite began to wane, for a time.

“But one must endure such trials, for often times they are tests from the divine ones.” She replied, a note of strength in her voice. After a moment of silence on her end, she nearly whispered: “Tell me, Erpa-ha, how is the child? Were there fatalities?”

Soon after her question, her breakfast arrived, and was place before her. She decided to simply nibble on her meal over the course of their conversation.
