She did not notify @Laurel or @Jorunn about her departure. Druid almost didn’t tell @Witch, either, but she couldn’t bring herself to leave without a word. She would not be like Mahler. She told her sister she was worried about their mother being gone so long. She said she intended to locate @Sequoia and bring her home. Druid then collected the newly awoken Bracelet and left Rivenwood by way of the eastern arches, crossing the cuesta and vanishing into the glare of the morning sun.
