Let's forward date this maybe 3 days so 6/10/23
He had run from all he knew. But he had been so blinded by grief he hadn't cared. He had run from the soft sands to the harsh forest. He had run over rocks and branches over harsh dirt. His paws were bleeding, there were knicks and cuts in his fur and across his face. And his body was tired, there had been nothing but running he hadn't stopped and finally, his entire body, started with his legs they buckled, then his weight followed and he fell and rolled tumbling, tumbling to land with a sickening thud against a tree and there he lay, finally darkness and peace. The only hint he was still alive was the rise and fall of his chest.

Rae stayed well away from Sapphique as Mireille's time neared and then passed. She wanted nothing to do with it. So she missed the death that took place there too, missed all of it, and was quite oblivious to her packmate's plight when she came upon him.
It was obvious just by looking at his still form that something had gone terribly wrong, at least in his world. Rae sighed, annoyed that she had been the one to find him, and moved closer to inspect the little cuts all over him and to sniff over his skull very thoroughly. Head injury? Well, he was out like a light, so she thought it likely. Rae nudged him after a few moments, not really expecting a response but hopeful.

A roll of eyes heavy beneath his lids. He was oblivious to the wolf looking him over, searching for any injury. Inside he breathed, but his mind was troubled. As the faces of those he loved fractured and broke. Twisted and turned throughout the darkness that was the imminent plain of his minds eyes.
Soft whimpers then quiet again. His face twisting into expressions of sadness and anger in equal measures. The muscles moved occasionally twitching, so worn out from running that they couldn't be still. He was a sorry sight indeed.

You can decide if he has a bloody head injury or just a knock to his noggin. Thank you for joining in <3 He'll wake up probably next round or we can make this short and sweet and have a thread after. I don't know if Raelle is going for healer?

Rae knows nothing about healing LMAO but I'm fine either way <3
He didn't stir much, so Rae gave up after a few moments and stepped back with another sigh. What now? she thought, eyeing his broken form with distaste. Was this why Sapphique thought so poorly of men? Thus far Rae had only ever found them in positions such as this, and she was honestly getting tired of it.Dude, get up,She finally burst out after staring at him for who knows how long. Rae reached out to prod him with a paw, far less gentle in her attempt to rouse him this time. If he didn't wake up at this, Rae would be forced to assume he was truly dying, and she figured the only thing to do for it would be to head back to Sapphique with the bad news.

He woke up at the prod. And eyes flashing body bristling he moved with a growl and a snap of teeth near her paw.
Though it hurt when he stood and his paws stung. There was anger and grief in his gaze. He recognized her scent, but didn't know her well enough to be nice.
She'd pressed and spoke harshly and he couldn't help it his body had given out.
W'o be you to go touc'in'!
