Eight women now, in their sisterhood. With Clementine and Arcelia joining the group last, she looked to the group of faces, most of whom looked lightly puzzled. It wasn't as though there were many men in the pack, but choosing to select only the women who were in their second year or older, she figured, should have been a bit of a clue. She noticed too that some looked lightly nervous; none, as far as she could tell, had already begun their cycle. It was wise to have such a conversation before they would have to deal with surprise conceptions.

She opened her mouth and drew in a breath- but found herself struggling to come up with a verse to explain why they had been gathered. Still, at this point in her life, music was the only way to make her words flow, and for some ceremonies and conversations, it was natural to fall into a lyrical melody. Unprepared, and now presented with a discussion that was new, she found it difficult to improvise.

She looked to Mireille to explain, with a kindly smile.
