That was the only word she registered at first, though Druid caught herself and played back the rest. Etienne insisted she would notice signs, supposing of course she wasn’t in denial. He said she could come find him, though she immediately refuted the very idea. That would serve no purpose, since there was nothing he or anybody could do for her at that point, and she would never put him at risk like that.
