Ocean's Breath Plateau Aspen

Come home, little island boy.

The woman’s voice crashed to shore with the waves. Near the water and dappled with flecks of sea salt and sand was a green-eyed listener. Panuk had heard the voice before. He knew that she was familiar even if he could not find her face in his memory. When she called him to the sea, to the plateau where he had been born, the young wolf followed.

Standing on the edge of his home, Pan breathed deep and steadied himself. Nervousness prickled at his fur. The earthy young wolf could see glittering lights dancing overhead, featherlight and swift. A deep breath told him that his father had been on the borders recently and so he searched for Rodyn’s familiar shape.
