All Welcome
They'd been at the Glen for a while and, though she'd told Towhee she wouldn't, Fennec couldn't help but duck off on her own for a small stretch of time.  She breathed a little easier in the familiar shifting silence of the Bramblepoint, with the naked trees and the wind the only sounds around.  The Glen was pretty quiet too, but it was of a different sort entirely.

Fennec didn't really do sad, or support, or comfort.  She tried, but it felt stiff and a little obligatory, so she preferred to avoid most of her previous packmates.  The vibe here was dismal; she had little to no interest in engaging beyond being here to support Bronco.  He'd asked her to come, she appreciated it, but hell.  This place was depressing and very little fun.

She relaxed as she passed through the trees on the way to her very dead gardens.  The thorns were still in place, and she passed by without moving them, going instead to the other patch she'd marked and loosely ringed with stone.  She rested a paw on one of them and sat down, musing.  As she did, a raven gave a familiar croak from above her, and Fennec's ears stood up straight.  Krrrk, she responded, a smile spreading across her face.  Her dad had said he'd found them, but she hadn't been certain until now they'd actually followed.  Aren't you a nice sound?  She waited, listening.  Had the rest of the flock followed too?

She didn't hear them currently, but she hoped so.  If this place became their new nesting grounds, then her shop would be one hundred percent set.
Fenn is blind, and as she's older, will take all of her character insight from tone.  If you are ever uncomfortable with an assumption she makes, please let me know!
