All Welcome
maybe @Tulok? <3

it was strange to exist without tasks being assigned. belen slept till she wished and ate when she wanted. the girl likened it to being a noble. today she passed through the mist of fel. here she found the muse for a dance, singing softly in the words her mother had used when she was young. belen passed in and out of the pale haze, eyes closed.

The demon heard singing and thought it sounded out of place here. The voice was unfamiliar, as well, though he suspected who it belonged to. The woman sent here from Akashingo. The listener had filled him in, but he still wasn't sure what they planned to do with the woman. She was used to a different life, one that she wouldn't find here.

He chose to follow the sound, mostly because he needed to know all of the acolytes so he could train them and tell them of the unnamed god.

He found her moving in and out of the mist and was at her side the next time she was visible again. I am one of the speakers, he told her. What is your name, acolyte? he asked, though it was clear there was no real choice on her part to answer him. He intentionally gave off a commanding presence to those who were meant to answer to him.

acolyte this, acolyte that. he was enormous, far larger than belen or anyone she had ever known. the man blotted out the sun and rumbled toward her in a voice so deep she could hardly hear what he was saying. "i am belen." she glimmered with a grin and turned a hip in his direction. "this land inspired me. i was remembering a song." was this man off-limits? she did not care; the akashingo fellahin would push the situation in her direction.

He was not easily swayed by seduction, and so the offer of a hip in his direction would be ignored. Sex was something he thought very little of because he didn't see the point of it. It was a naive take on things, though he was unaware of that.

Her name was Belen. She stated that the lands inspired her to sing. Who was he to go against the unnamed god. If it was the lands that had demanded song from her, then it was the unnamed god who actually wanted to hear it.

You sing for our god, then, he told her. He has inspired that in you.

was every man here so uncharming? the listener had given her leave to practice, yet it seemed a cruel joke as she had no one whom delighted in such ritual. belen pulled into herself and dipped her head. she could not tell if he was inquiring or deciding that this god had spoken, but opted not to argue. "it has been a while since i sang." this time she did not smile toward the dour beast. "it feels good to do it again."
