All Welcome
He made it, qoth a new limp, but he made it. His age and a twist to an ankle and he was a little pissed off about it really.

A tilt to his ear and he shifted. Hoping to see his children and his healer and let the world be as it were. A small smile when the treeline came into view.
I will be building Reyson's personality largely in character. So his general personality and mannerisms may change as I learn more about him. I am fine with some plots with him as long as all parties are comfortable and know what is to be expected.

Meadow had taken more to the borders here than anywhere else in her life—not because she excelled at it, but it seemed a promising thing to do, particularly with her mate off, scouting for them.

But oh, she missed him! Used to being abandoned—used to being left behind, or having to start again—she shouldn’t have pined the way she did. But because she knew it was not him leaving her, but him searching for their next chapter, she worried for him. She worried for him, and yet she was so anxious to start their new chapter together...

So when she saw that familiar large form surging up the slopes of the plateau, she let out a squeal of joy—rushing forward, ready to throw herself in his arms before her eye caught the hobble of a limp.

As quick as she could, she skid to a stop infront of him, almost bumping into him, though a moody frown crossed over her features. “You’re hurt?” She demanded, already skirting around to inspect his ankle. “How did you get hurt?”

Reyson was surprised to see his healer at the doorstep of their current home. But not so surprised when she raced towards him. He should have known she would keep an eye out for him. Given her past and his own.

He caught her with his good paw and smiled down at her with warm ice eyes. A twinkle in them. A soft chuckle.

I found a groundhog hole with my foot. And my age didn't help.

He lifted her foot for her inspection. He had wrapped it rather terribly in some sort of water reed to keep it from moving too much. He had made sure it wasn't apoisonous one, but beyond that. Well.

While she moved to skirt around him for a closer look, Reyson caught her swiftly in a manner only a solid soldier could, embracing her before letting her go to inspect his injury. Blushing at his warm welcome, she tried to clear her head, warmth spreading in her chest as his familiar scent enveloped her. She had missed him.

A groundhog hole? “What’s with you and rodents,” she chided softly, referring to the porcupine incident of ’22.

He had wrapped the ankle—and she lifted a paw, poking him softly in the side. “C’mon, let’s go tighten that up,” she offered, flashing him a small smile. “And get something in your belly.”

Reyson felt her reaction go straight to his head. And his gaze went a little hazy for a moment. Gods she was perfect. A gentle sigh left his throat.

Reyson snorted. I guess God figured the big things can't kill me send the small ones they might succeed. Though thus far its me 2 them 0.

A soft snort. He could think of something else he might like to do. But food could come first he supposed. A small press against her side. A push into her ruff, harder than normal, And a nod.

mmm. Alright.

some pp on how our rho x lotus thread could have gone when they showed meadow, lmaooo

“You’re ego is untouched, though,” she noted dryly, pulling him forward so they may settle him better now that he was home. She flashed a smile upward to him, muzzle drawing gingerly to a broad shoulder before she quickened her pace—even when he limped, it was hard to keep up with his long legs!

“Your children made me close my eyes and touch frog eggs, in an attempt to spook me,” she began, the smile on her face next to impossible to wipe away, now, that he was home. “I told them it felt like brains. They didn’t like that.”

I am fine with that :)

Reyson chuckled. It's a constant condition.

he stretches with a soft groan as some of his joints pop. His tongue lolling out as the pop made certain spots feel better. He traced a small line from her ear to her cheek at her nuzzle. He tried to curb his walk, really he did.

For a moment, he was on a cool dark hill and someone lay at his feet. Slippery and bloody. HE swallowed thickly, but covered itup with a smile.

I bet they didn't Rhonen was probably horrified and Lotus probably huffy.

She missed the vacancy of his gaze as his mind slipped to horror—all in the blink of an eye. Instead, a muzzle pressed often to his shoulder as she quietly fussed over him, reveling in the notion he was home, and he was safe.. if not a bit more scuffed up than when he had set out.

“You’d be correct on both accounts,” she mused, sweeping forward to one of the clearings of the plateau, nose bent down as she sniffed about for one of the caches. Honeyed gaze drifting upward, she arched a brow at him. “What did you find when you were away?”

It wasn't often anymore that the shadows and darkness crept up on him. But much as he knew his body would always pain itself at times. And his mind was dark at times. It was the way of things.

Meadow quietly fussed over him as she always did. Making sure he was okay. He loved her for that.

Towhee.

I think this was a different excursion, but why not make it a discussion if you're okay with that about Sun Mote, since it was all so hurried?

Well that was a name she hadn’t heard on awhile. Blinking, the woman looked up at him, planting a kiss to the corner of his mouth and waiting for him to elaborate—

—Reyson had scouted out potential homes for them—a fresh start. But when he presented his findings… it certainly felt like kismet.
