Stavanger Bay Love is just a game

She stalked closer, Smokestep unnoticed with the prospect of a snack in her immediate future.  Good birdie.  That's right.... stay... stay....

Then, the pounce!  It took off in a flutter of wings, but due to a lucky roll (how embarrassing would they have been), she managed to catch one of them in her teeth.  This resulted in the other smacking her face a time or two, but a quick shake snapped whatever needed snapping, and the bird hung limp.  Success!

Finally she glanced around, and noticing Smokestep watching, gave an appreciative wave of her tail.  What'd y know, an audience.  Well, if he thought she was sharing, he had another thing coming.  He could go catch his own sea chicken.
