Stavanger Bay Love is just a game

She approved of the confidence, and even moreso of the reception to her query on Raptor.  She would be lying if she claimed not to have brought him up in an attempt to spy a flicker of jealousy... she was nothing if not a lover of games.  And while she wasn't sure if the reaction was to her or to the thought of his sister, she would count it a victory anyway.  Good for the soul, taking assumed wins when y could.

Hold on... sister.  He didn't mean Dakini, and there was only one other wolf here who could claim that moniker Rosalyn knew of.  "Sand... whatsit's your sister?  Huh.". Her tone was casual, but inwardly her mind was going a mile a minute.

First of all, why the fuck would Raptor have any interest in her?  True he didn't seem to be a wolf of particularly descriminating taste, but definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel there, bucko.  She didn't have the right to judge, of course, but hell if she wasn't a little peeved he'd prefer her over she herself.  The principle of it.

Not to mention it made everything to come even more of a risk.  But she was a gambler, so Roz would take it if she needed to.  The higher the stakes, the more interesting the bet.

"Can't say I disagree," she answered with a flip of her tail, the stroke to her ego warming her and disappating some of the stress.  At least Smoke seemed fond of her; she couldn't say how much yet, but she had to hope enough.
