Dragoncrest Cliffs But I am still new at getting old

She was caught up in imagining all the ways she would rip these cliffs apart if she just had the power when a lone call came, barely audible.  At first she thought she imagined it, but there was no mistaking that voice.

Tears sprang into her eyes as she stood, springing towards the edge of beach nearest where it had come.  The cliffs and water kept her bounded, but that sound had been a lifeline and brought such a rush of love and unbelievable loneliness she couldn't bear it.

She called back, though she couldn't be sure the cliffs would carry hers as they had carried Erzulie's.  At least the water was an eager messenger. I'm here. The desperate note faded and she stood still, her muzzle still pointing to the sky as her shoulders shook with silent tears.
