It was still too early with no pregnancy signs appearing, though she'd told @Erzulie of her own tryst with Firefly.  Her feelings about it were inscrutible - now that the season had faded, she'd experienced a full range from gentle excitement to hesitant regret.  The former was winning today as she roamed the forest in search of food.

She'd noticed Erzulie's withdrawal and tried not to press her, though she was sure to return and make herself readily available.  She didn't mind the space - it left her some of her own, after all, and she'd never been too against her own company.  It didn't feel like a space to worry about, not yet... but a healthy one.  Her wife's status was displaying itself a bit more clearly than her own seemed to want to.

She managed to successfully wrangle a bird, one of the large coastal variety, and wondered if the lighter fare would tempt her.  It was worth taking back at least.  With that goal in mind she turned her path back to the shore, where she could place it near where they usually slept, at the ready for whoever might want it.
