Rosalyn didn't answer as Erzulie revealed the reason for her apology, and instead just ran her nose lovingly over her neck before joining her stride.  It wasn't odd to her that Erzulie would need time alone to think, though it would be a lie to say she hadn't missed her.

No different, so far, she said, glancing down. She wasn't sure if she should feel relieved or disappointed about that - perhaps a mix of both.  I'm still not sure what to make of it.  But I think in a good way.  She was nervous but she knew they could handle it.
