Another thing to thank Caiaphas for, though this one only silently.  Since when did she know of herbs?  Rosalyn wouldn't have pegged her for the type, but she committed the information to mind.

I suppose so, she agreed, still thoughtful on it.  She still did not know which way she hoped.  A large disappointment lurked behind the thought that it hadn't, but a large and anxious foreboding awaited news that it had.  

The mention of Drageda was an effective context switch, but not necessarily a welcome one.  Rosalyn paused briefly in her grooming, but then resumed.

They have.  Here's hoping they have the brains to stay that way.  This wasn't a subject she broached often, and it would have been impossible to completely hide her reluctance to speak about it.  Her answer was joking and true, but also skirted the issue.
