She was incredulous as she stared at the woman, head cocked.

And now here you are, being nasty for no reason—I don't get it! Her lips curled upward, revealing the hidden row of teeth to match the ruined side. What the hell did I ever do to you? What did I ever do besides help you? I trusted you, Flicker! And you return that trust by throwing it all in my face!
