All Welcome
The shade wood was a good find.  Rosalyn had not scouted it beforehand, but when told they were relocating, had not argued.  The rain was relentless... even now it ran down her spine, a light drizzle that might soon pick up again.  She sighed.  At least here the ground was higher, and flooding was not such a worry as there.

Despite the wet, she sought to perhaps teach the children some of the ways of the hunt.  First however she needed to find a proper spot, somewhere prey frequented.  Their attention spans were not yet built to support an extended search; she would need to know where to find signs shortly, signs she could teach that would serve them later.

Solaire and Aracelie would reach the age first, but their siblings wouldn't be far behind.

Yosemite had done his best to stick close to Nine in the days that followed their induction into Rusalka; partially because he was frightened of their new packmates, and partially because (even if he was reluctant to admit to such sentiment) he wasn't sure how Nine might get on without him. He'd made a solemn oath to the other man, and that meant they were team, even if they were team with the larger society of Rusalka as well.

But he wanted to try his hand at hunting again, without Nine looking over his shoulder and making him nervous. He could try to track, at least, although even that was a challenge in the constant downpour. They were a bit more protected here in the forest than other places, but everything still smelled soggy and muddled.

This was what led to him "running into" Rosalyn; he would normally have avoided someone so scarred and seasoned, but how was he supposed to tell where everyone was, these days? He froze when he caught sight of her, but gave a tentative wiggle of friendliness in the next moment and ventured a hopeful, "Hello."

He remembered being introduced to her, but not quite what her name was; something with an R. Rusalka? It had to be something other than Rusalka, didn't it?

"I'm just — looking for things. To hunt," he told her, wagging his tail as if to appease her great (and wholly assumed) anger. Also, probably he managed to say his actual name when he was introduced to them, so Rosalyn might know him as Yosemite or Jojo. Who knows.

apologizing for being sporadic lately! If you ever feel it's going to long, don't feel bad givin me a poke

She was aware of new blood in the ranks, but the days when she'd have readily introduced herself were gone.  She'd slipped into the matriarch mindset, and now, she allowed them to come to her.  They'd know her in time, because much as Aningan ran Rusalka, Rosalyn viewed she and Erzulie's family as the pack's core.

She no longer carried her lofty rank, but that didn't stop Rosalyn from looking Yosemite over with an appraising eye as he stopped her to say hello.  She paused, turning to face him with her good eye, and gave a once over before nodding.  And how is this search for.. things going? She asked, her expression threatening a smirk but not quite breaking form yet.  He seemed eager to please, which always amused her to some level.  She preferred it to the ones who joined and immediately chose to throw rank.  Rusalka had previously held a habit of taking those with large, but mostly empty, heads.
