Wapun Meadow Our guardian angels have turned their backs on us

Fennec wanted to find Killdeer before she disappeared from this place for good and she'd wrapped @Figment into the search. She didn't wander far from the Emberwood, just in case he came back, and she'd return there between each trip to check and hang out a while.

It was lucky that her brother loved her because Fennec was definitely not good company right now. She was quiet and prickly when poked, though to her credit she did try not to take it out on him too much. It just... didn't always work. At least having just the two of them was easier. Fig knew how to not press her buttons better than anyone, and how to diffuse her. Mostly it was just silence between them.

The meadow she was in was gorgeous, Fennec could tell, but she didn't pay much attention to the flowers whose scent pervaded the place. There was no sign of Killer or Caracal, and Fennec cursed quietly. She didn't want to go much further than this.
