All Welcome
He had never been a planner. Nah, he was far more a ride the wind kind of guy. Hit the trails and see where they took you. That had been what had led him away from the Wilds the first time he’d found his way here, and that’s what led him back. This place had a certain charm to it, something he wished to explore.

He knew why dad had settled here. At least, at the start.

Boaz had travelled from the south this time, and had skirted his way along the mountains until the trees cleared out to a vast valley.

The same one he’d been in once before.

Well, would you looked at that, he said to nobody but himself. He knew pack wolves were close — he could smell them on the grasses upstream — but he couldn’t be bothered to call for an audience yet, or even at all.

Boaz was too busy admiring the rose that was Rising Sun Valley.

AW! Trying this guy out again lol! He’s still a little bit away from the border :)

Perhaps it was the fact that he was one of the few only able bodied males in the pack right now and him and Shardik often took turns at the borders. Today it was his turn. Perhaps he was on edge with the she wolves and the puppies and he wasn't thinking straight. But he smelled a different scent. One that he didn't know and he raced towards it with a growl. Stopping at the invisible line that made up their claim and the wilds.

His growl quieted for the male was far enough away. But there was something hard in the chest of the warrior and he wasn't sure what to make of these new found protective feelings. So he barked and then waited, watching with sky blue eyes. Waiting.

Amazing, what a little change in perspective could do! If he had seen the Valley from this angle when he’d first come into the Wilds, maybe he would have stayed a little longer! Or maybe not. Was that the same peak of the Glacier he’d seen beyond the moraine when he’d hunted on the plains?

Boaz craned his neck a little higher just as someone sounded a bark behind him.

He dropped his paws to the ground and turned around with a casual smile.

Hey! You’ve got a pretty nice view from here, he imagined this was one of the pack wolves. Certainly by the looks of him, not one he wanted to cross. Huge! And leggy! Boaz could run, but not when his legs were half the size of the other guy’s. He turned to appraise the horizon again. Though, it would be a little better if there weren’t as many trees in the way of the mountains.

Even though his father’s stories had been anything less than idyllic, Boaz knew a lot could change in a lifetime. He was willing to give the lot of them the benefit of a doubt.

The big black beast didn't really have much of an idea of what the other was doing, but if he'd have to wager. He'd guess he was sightseeing, but did anyone really do that anymore. Granted if he had the time and he wasn't always on edge lately he may.

So perhaps stop judging asshole. Jeesh. He was deeply ashamed of himself for thinking and being so judgemental.

This one was as big as Akavir, but Arric still stood taller. He hadn't met many like him. Apparently his size was abnormal at least in these parts of the teekon. He was sure there was someone out there, big as or bigger than him.

A soft chuckle. Yea it's nice. I think the trees are nice too so you and I will have to agree to disagree on that. But if you go a little further, there's some hills that let you see a bit overtop of the trees.
