Ocean's Breath Plateau BWP: TSS Fishes and Whales

His brother had gotten the starfish from the water. Arrluk having chased down a fish that swam all around in circles but no where to really go. Ajei was able to scoop up the crab without getting pinched. They all got something different and did well, but they were at a tide pool. Basically food was sitting ducks here, but worked out perfectly for the learning pups! 

Picking up his fish and then settling it closer to the group when he came near, Arrluk sniffed at the starfish and then pressed a paw to it while he ripped off one of the legs. He bit down on it. It felt awkward in his mouth and his nose crinkled up as he ate. It sure was ummm, crunchy? And the outside also had like a spiny feel, yet the inside of it was soft and mushy, tasting like something entirely all its own. Its... not bad. Feels weird, but not bad.

Afterwards, he went to the crab. It's meat and white and red and when he went to eat it, was tender and flaky and kinda sweet, he thought. Oh yeah- that's good. He said with a grin and lick of his maw before snagging of another leg and chewing on it all as he laid in the sands. I think I could get used to this. He said with a smile into Heph's direction.

Ajei sniffed at the star fish and gently nibbled at it. Her maw felt strange agter eating it. She also took a bit of fish and saved most of the crab for the brothers who had not had before.

She have a soft sigh of contentment and delight. And curled to her side watching everything with bright green eyes.

Heph grinned, glad that the younger wolves were enjoying the sea and the hunting. "You're welcome anytime!" She hoped that Moontide would become a place too where wolves could gather. The open borders between the moon packs may have created problems, but ultimately it had gone well and she was glad of the faces that she was meeting. She saw Ajei curled up and she flopped onto her own side to watch the shore.

Massaraq saw Ajei lie down and Heph too. The day had been long and the the sun even late in the summer and into early autumn beat down fiercly. A yawn escaped him and she curled up next to Ajei, ready to take a nap, the soothing sound of the waves in the background lulled him to an easy and dreamless sleep.

Arrluk had eaten a little bit of everything and after he was full, watched as everyone laid down after their hunting. Even Heph was content to curl up with them and for a little while, Arrluk just sat and watched the water move out over the sands and then back again. In the distance, he would see the mist of the orca pod. Then, much like his brother, the soothing sound of the waves nearly forced his body to lay, tucked up with everyone else and he slept deep and easy.
