"The ocean's a fickle mistress, alright," she said with a small smile, "she'll pull ye in if ye aren't careful." The tides and flows were not something to test yourself.  "Keep to the shallows and often, if any are gonna come, they'll come to you."

It was fairly similar to fishing anywhere else, she found; boring.  Fish were a sort of last resort food for Rosalyn mostly because she did not have the patience nor the attention span to stand so long.  She began to wade out, slowly, so as to not disturb too much aside from the movement of the waves. Her eyes were alert for any sign of movement beneath.

"The bears of the north, eh?  They teach you anything useful?" She asked, and while the question was teasing, it was genuine.  She hadn't often watched the creatures of other species outside of prey.
