Maybe there was a diplomatic answer here.  And maybe Erzulie would have words for her later. But Rosalyn was sick to death of wolves thinking they had the right to shove her aside because they held a claim and thought she threatened it.  No wolf owned the coast, no wolf owned the sea, and no wolf owned her.  If they wanted this place, they'd have to come for it themselves.
