for @Taktuq!

while being escorted by @Tavina to meet others, toula had overheard conversation without fully meaning to. and yet she had; she caught wind of a woman speaking to some fellow, here, of dancing... and how their steps would not match those here, for being northern in their origin. it was too late now to request her escort pause whilst beginning in her introductions... and besides that, the woman speaking was busy in her own conversation. not wishing to be improper, toula turned to peer over her shoulder to get a good look at the face of the speaker.
toula resolved to find her again.
some hours must have passed before she was able to seek her, but her resolve had not been shaken for even a moment. unalone, toula was escorted by the fellahin who were assigned to look after her this day. near floating to the woman taktuq, toula considered all of the lessons her mother, @Treva, had taught to her--and her sister @Makono too. she represented Akashingo, here, and she would do so with pride.
though still small and in her girlhood, toula held herself proudly. her head was tall, her spine was straight, and each step was that of a dancers. it was in this way she approached their invited guest, the fellahin at her flank. one drew forward to announce her to taktuq, giving forth all of her many names: Princess Muat-riya Toula of the Red Serpent.
it was only once she was announced that she drew forward, hoping to appear taller than she was as she looked up to her elder. taktuq was lovely; her hazel eyes were a vision to toula, who adored the color. forgive me for intruding, she started in her light voice, eyes bright, we have not yet met, and I would be sorry to go one more moment without our introduction. it would please me to know your name, and where you hail from, each word spoken, she grew more confident. her conviction to learn this woman's dance was undying.
