Lion Head Mesa the one triangle that goes through four separate phases,

toula nearly ruined it all, then--her enthusiasm almost became an unbound thing, that would have cost the girl her mothers gift. it would have been useful for the fellahin to have carried it for this reason too! they had so many purposes, her mind worked out. but toula was able to maintain herself, and placed the little satchel down that she had done her best to make pretty for her mother. the gift was covered by brambles, berries attached to them... and a small sliver of the thin, pristine fur of a white hare.
she had help; the fellahin were enlisted for some aspects of this. it kept it together for this long... but as she placed it to the earth, it all came apart. and there, within it, was the jewel of herself and her mother. i have prayed to Iset, to keep you protected. to watch over you and look after us, always, she breathed, i have done so for many days, and many nights,  over this stone, where i first saw your power. and it is this that they have been spoken into, as well as Her all hearing ears...  she blinked up at her mother. she had practiced this speech for her mother, too. but she was so happy for her mother, and her mother looked so radiant to her, that tears pricked her eyes and she found she could not finish then!
