Toula spoke in many tongues for her cubs. on any given day, for the entirety of it, she spoke only in that language for them. her royal children need not worry about marrying beyond the palace now, but they would interact even still with royals of other locales—she would have them understand, and know sooner than their lessons began. even the savage language, what she knew of it from @Drusk, she shared—and as she spoke it, she found herself wishing he had not gone. that she could learn a little more from him! his ways were different, simpler—surely he would be happier away from this place. 
she hoped that he was! and that if he was not, that he might yet return if he could keep to his word. Toula had learned much from him, and quickly—the easiness of it came from linguistic skill cultivated as early as her young was then.
today she spoke to them in Egypts own tongue, and that alone—she sought recognition in their eyes for the words that she spoke: …and soon, we shall host our own celebration when the serpentriver floods—a blessing from the Gods!
