All Welcome
Arlette rushed back to the easthollow borders as quickly as she could. She had been spending a lot of time with Nunataq and when she did, the female often forgot about time. The pale female didn't want to leave Nunataq but she had her responsibilities with Easthollow. However, Nuna had a way of making her forget that Easthollow even existed.

Arlette had been away for two days and one night. She almost stayed away a second night but realized how quickly time had flown by. That was why she was rushing home to be back in time for it became dark. As she trotted to the border, panting harshly, she realized she barely made it. The last lights of the sun were peeking over the Stone Circle.

The girl trotted over the border, staying low to the ground to stay unnoticed. It probably made her entrance more suspicious. What also didn't help was that she smelled more of Nunataq than an Easthollow member...

Hoping for maybe a @Greyback or... @Indra would be fun as well!! :D

As night blanketed over the split cantaloupe sky and The Patriarch had just finished making his border rounds. He couldn't wait to retire to bed with Valette and the pups, and before he knew it his body was carrying to them absentmindedly.

However,

A scent rolled past him, heady and dark. Greyback turned around and narrowed his gaze at the horizon with suspicion as he watched silently. It didn't take long for a dark figure to come skirting through the grass, their body low and heading right towards him. He smirked to himself, knowing it was Arlette due to the whiteness of her pelt in the dark. He figured she would come home eventually, she always had a penchant for visiting her friend. But she was late, and he figured he would have his fun.

He continued to stay silent, and placed himself right in front of her path before rising upward to a tall, noble stature and frowning.(with an raised eyebrow of course) He looked much like a father would catching his teenage daughter sneaking out a night.

Arlette didn't expect that someone would be around when she was sneaking back into the territory. The pale female kept low to the ground in a high paced trot. However, this also caused her to not really look up. Before she knew it, there was an immense mass in front of her path. She battered her eyes up. Shit. Greyback.

Her tail started to wag in a guilty matter. Her face looked the same. "H-Hi Greyback," she greeted and offered him a smile. She had not expected him to be here. She was a bit at loss for words with those raised eyebrows at her. A soft whine came from her throat as she didn't know how to display herself. Clearly caught.

The man continued to frown as the white girl made herself known, his gaze raking over her before settling on her shy wagging tail. He held fast for a while, continuing his facade. He wanted to see what the princess would say. Would she give an excuse? Would she apologize and get scared? He waited, but all he got was a tiny sputter of a hello.

"Hello Arlette," he greeted back.

He barely missed the small note that escaped her throat, and in return let out a gentle huff. "Caught you, didn't I?" He chose that moment to drop the frown on his face and let out a laugh. "Give your mother a warning next time, you had her worried sick."

Arlette kept her tail wagging. It felt that it would work in her favor. He did catch her sneaking in. She felt that she was in trouble but then his frown dropped and he ... laughed? Arlette's ears perked up and looked a bit hopeful. He didn't look mad at her. What a relief!! "I didn't mean to stay away that long," she admitted and was now wagging her tail faster with relief.

The girl sat a bit up. "I was with my friend Nuna and I forgot the time," she admitted. "I'm sorry. I will go to mom straight away and make sure to make up to her," she nodded seriously. She wouldn't want Valette to be worried about her. She had enough on her mind.

As Arlette explained herself the man stood still, nodding to her words and giving a hum in return. He remembered the days, although long ago, that he was a yearling. Greyback remembered the trouble he got in for his numerous disappearances and holler than thou attitude. Thankfully, Arlette wasn't like him. He hoped that Newt, Clay, and West took after their mother in that sense— Greyback wouldn't be able to handle three of himself.

"Go on," he urged while turning to thump his muzzle against her side. "Be quick about it, she's worried sick... but." Greyback paused and looked her once over. "Maybe you should wash up— You look like something your siblings have chewed on."

Arlette decided to grab this free card and not try to say too much to get herself in more trouble. "OK!," she quickly spoke as she got the bump. The female wasn't scared or hurt by the bump. It encouraged her to quickly run forward. "Thanks Greyback!," she called out as she was running to the stream. She even howled to her mother that she was on her way to see her. At least then her mother wouldn't be so worried.
