he took the novelty in stride, bent on discovering the next series of adventures for this selfless wolf that had helped a witch ensnared in the forest. these stories had a way of capturing a side of arcturus he could rarely conjure; it was as if wraen's imagery nourished a part of him that, for a long time, had never supped.

his ears flicked in response to her question; what next? "i do not know.. does she take him home?" while he felt sorry for this character, he wondered if he was not in store for a fairy-tale ending in light of the news of his family's deaths.
