Nyra once again was desiring a spar, and she knew just the wolf to rely on. Tilting her head, she called for her co-lead with the usual spar-urgency, with sides rounding out further and yet she paid it no mind just yet. 

Her children would be due within the next month, but damn it, she was going to push her limits. 

And once Kynareth came into view, she would charge him, teeth aiming for the place between neck and shoulder. Words would not be wasted today, even as her tail wagged to show she wasn't trying to kill him.

The Grandmaster has his head bowed and he laps up the fresh water of the river that runs perfectly through their territory. It’s so refreshing, especially with the weather finally beginning to warm. The harsh winter slowly but surely falling away to spring and then hopefully to summer. 

When a howl echoes into his ears he shifts his ears and moves his head up, running a black tongue over his whispered lips he smiles. Nyra wants a spar again it seems. Or so he assumes. Despite her growing belly, she’s still to eager to train and he feels his heart swell for her at that. 

He doesn’t take long to answer her beckoning and the second he meets her he can see the evil gleam in her eyes. She doesn’t give him time to react before she’s pouncing at him. Her teeth meet his shoulder and he grins. Curling in on himself to snap his own teeth at her hocks defensively. He likes the wag of her tail and he finds his own wagging back. Their spars are always fun.

As they meet in spar-combat once again she cackles with glee, and grins as he goes for her hocks. 
In turn she curls on him and snaps for his cheek fur in an attempt to parry him away. 
It seems she isn't as clumsy this time round.

The Overseer feels almost...giddy. Excited. 

The succubus-gleam in her eyes suggests what she might desire once they finish the spar, even as her fangs are arcing for him.

Kynareth loves the thrill of battle. Be it serious or a spar, he can find joy in both. Both still ignite his blood in a fiery way and make his heart pump his life force faster throughout his body. He can’t stop smiling. He and Nyra have been through much. Squabbled, argued, and actually fought one another multiple times, but each time everything always rights itself. He can’t help but get along with her. 

So when he feels her teeth bite at the loose skin and fur of his cheek, her diversion works. He tries to back up to keep himself in an easily defendable position. Squaring his shoulders and widening his stance he moves to snatch up the side of her throat. The looser, thick furred nape of her mouth feels good between his teeth and the second he catches a glimpse of those fiery eyes he wonders what she could be thinking. He doesn’t wonder much, only silently giving her his own look back mischievously.

At his move for her throat she dances backward in barely enough time, rushing forward once more in a pounce of sorts. Would they collide chest to chest? Would they roll over one another? 

Time was only to tell, and it was closing in fast.

They meet in the middle in a harsh clashing of bodies. Kynareth has slippery feet it seems and he finds himself on his back just as fast. He kicks out defensively in an attempt to dislodge her, but it seems his efforts bear no fruit. 

He sighs with a wide smile and gives up, lying beneath the pale woman as his golden eyes glint up to her with mirth in them. 

“Good fight, sweetheart, it seems I’ve lost.” He hums up to her easily. He has no problem losing to those in his pack. Especially Nyra.

They clash, and she feels the air try to leave her chest on impact, yet it doesn't fully. They are both behemoths, beasts, powerhouses. 
And then he tumbles, and Nyra is left standing victor over Kynareth's lying form. 

"Good fight indeed." She chuckles, letting him up. 

An invite lies in her golden hues, an offer to patrol or hunt or something. Was he game?

Kyn chuckles at her loose praise and he rolls himself up onto his paws when she allows him. He sees an invitation in her gaze and he meets her with his own golden eyes. 

Then wordlessly as they stare at one another they come to a fair conclusion to go on a patrol. He nods his head in a miscellaneous direction to signal for her to follow and they’re off.
