All Welcome
Pack moving thread I'm only gonna tag everyone in this thread, but I'm making two more that peeps can also join so go back to the Sunspires forum and take a look (once they're done being typed. >P ). Cameos here are totally fine!
Obviously timeline stuff is very screwball right now, so this thread is dated as Whatever Works In Your Timeline.

@Jomyo @Brouhaha @Agent @Royal @Zane @Merrit @Kallik

Explore, but stay with someone. We'll meet back together at sunset. Those had been her instructions. With new land and bad weather, it was best that they not have stragglers, even if now they were farther from those that were dangerous. It wasn't worth the risk, was it?

She was still angry. But to a certain point there wasn't much that could be done about that. She had gone back to familiar ground now, where things had never been so bad. A fresh start of a sort, even if it was under the same dark skies. The first thing was to go and secure the borders, so that's what she did. The paths were overgrown, but she knew the way they went by dusty old memories. Time to start making this place home again.
Arbiter is often not a nice person and will think mean things without acting on them.

Zane moved willingly, though he was wondering if this chick he was following made a habit of calling deals with shady godfathers who sent hit squads.  This mountain was cool and all, but getting in a fight on it? Bit askin for sending one to a neck-breaking jump.  He glanced over to a nearby ledge and gave a little shiver as the vertigo slid through his stomach.

Yep.  He hated heights.  This was fine.

He eyed the pack around them, but kept clear of Arbiter.  He got the feeling she hadn't exactly taken a shine to him (probably an understatement?) and was cool to be out of that danger zone for a bit.

Nice digs.  was all he offered, to whoever might be around and near enough to hear.  Likely the whole pack, because he didn't have much of an undertone.

Explore but stay with someone. The directions were easy enough to understand, but he still found himself filled with uncertainty. If anything, he'd rather stay with the group—with what was familiar to him. There had been too much change, and it had all just piled on weight to his mind already heavy with grief. He had no clue how to deal with it all, so he did as he had always done and disappeared into himself. Like after his mother had died, he had not spoken a word since the day Valette had been crushed.

So, instead of taking off to explore, he had stayed with Arbiter, his gaze searching for @Merrit, wherever he might be. Another wolf spoke, and Kallik glanced to him, his soft green eyes relaying nothing but coldness. Then they were back on the ground in front of him. He stopped, too, to look down into the valley below them. The height didn't worry him. He suspected that falling from here would be far less painful than what he had experienced in his short life.

He took a seat and watched the snow fall down until it disappeared into the green nothingness.

Merrit wasn't far from Kallik. He usually never was. Perhaps, if things had settled easier with Legion, he might've stolen away more often. But this pack had gone through an upheaval themselves. No times for him to get attached to the place he'd found them. Their new home, upon a mountain. Not near as glorious as Moonspear -- but it was close.

He felt anger from Arbiter. Understandable. He thought of Ursus, if they had done to Easthollow as this other pack had done to Legion. He would have fought. He would have liked to believe he would.

But they had been destroyed by something unfightable. And wasn't that the worst part? Powerless. His eyes turned to Kallik through the snow. They both had been.

"Kallik," he said from behind, eyeing the other man who had spoken. Unlike Kallik, Merrit's eyes were simply passive. Neither warm, nor cold. Perhaps worse, than being either-or. He would need to acquaint himself with these other packmates soon - but for now, he could only afford a short nod.

"Indeed. And mountains usually have good caves," he remarked, before he turned to Kallik, whose gaze fell too long over the side of the mountain for Merrit to find any comfort in. "Come. Find shelter with me." Whoever wanted to join could tag along - but he hardly knew anyone here, and from the ice both he and Kallik shed off in droves, he would be surprised if anyone else decided to follow.

With them all here, she let the group disperse across the territory. They'd be able to hunt her down as they needed, but for now, letting everyone explore was likely the right thing to do. They'd get to settle in and it'd be all good in the end, so she believed.

Arbiter turned to go start the patrol. Much to do.
