Stavanger Bay Love is just a game

"I'd say it's learned the error of its ways," she said with a return grin, nudging the dead bird with a foreleg.  She eyed him as he spoke of his own capability, and gave an appreciative hm.  "I'm sure you can do a lot of things," she said, her tone indicating clearly the connotation those words had.  

"Bay's been treating me well, much as I've been in it.  You picked a good one."  She did wonder what had made him choose it.... perhaps she'd ask.  "Glad I crossed paths with you and Raptor.  Speaking of.... where's your right hand off to? Catching more like me to keep this place afloat?". She left the bird for now, stepping around Smokestep to walk a bit closer to the water.  She kept an eye on him as she did so; perhaps only to ensure she didn't invade his space, perhaps not.
