Fennec recognized Blueberry's voice almost immediately, but she'd been hoping for a stranger. If she was looking to get something to eat out of this trade, she was better off selling a (harmless) lie to some unknowing old roamed than some moody kid. Even if she could, on a variety of levels, relate to some of what she'd heard (and inferred) of her reasoning.

The mention of Bronco was interesting, though. Had he made friends with her? That was adorable and also definitely in character... another check in the "what a fuckin softie" column she occasionally, affectionately, gave him shit about.

He's hunting, and I'm guessing it'll be a while. The day was young. What she was doing, now, was way more interesting. Seeing as there were no other takers around, and she had some time to kill, it couldn't hurt. Who's to say Blueberry couldn't offer her something at least?

I'm looking for a trade. I've got skills that sometimes can come in handy for other wolves. Healing is just one of them. If someone wants to give something in return, then I can give them their fortune. For Blueberry she left off the other aspects she usually tried to sell, curses and blessings. The latter really just seemed like selling bullshit and the former felt like tempting fate.

Without getting up, Fennec waited and listened, gauging her interest. As she did, she began to consider what she knew about Blueberry. It wasn't much... she might have to get creative with this one if the younger wolf took the deal.
