As Kiara crept into Phoenix Maplewood territory, she kept her eyes peeled for warriors. Her paws made almost no sound when they touched the ground, and her red pelt blende d in with the red fall leaves.Kiara had heard that the Maplewood alphas were weak and injured, and the other pack members weren't much better. She intended to invade the territory and take over the pack. She would kill the alphas and anyone else that stood in her way.
Trespassing roll: 7
Your character will be subject to consequences as outlined in the above linked announcement for trespassing. I'll edit this post once I've made it to indicate exactly what the consequences are.
We've rolled a 7, meaning your character must suffer at least one severe crippling or life-threatening injury for trespassing.

Unfortunately for Kiara, she'd chosen a well-defended pack with a pair of wardens for alphas to try to invade. Injured or not, Saena and Reek were a well-oiled machine as a pair and more than capable of protecting what was theirs. Kiara also couldn't possibly know that the healing Saena was antsy, having spent so much time relaxing and trying to let her wounds heal, so she couldn't possibly know that the alpha female was out patrolling much earlier than usual.
Coincidence was what brought Saena across the unfamiliar scent trail, but as soon as she crossed it, she was on high alert. Her nape prickled and her eyes narrowed. Intruder. Heading inward. Before doing anything else, the yearling threw back her head and howled loudly to alert her pack, then she pressed her nose to the soil, inhaled Kiara's scent deeply, and began to stalk the intruder with the full intent of killing her once she was discovered.

Scarlett only recently joined the ranks of PHX. She was still unfamiliar on these grounds but she was very protective of her young, add the fact that she had mesmerized all the scents hanging on the borders she knew which wolves were members and which ones where not. She was out hunting for her children when she came upon the smell of a wolf she didn't recognize. The red eyed female abandoned her hunt and instantly changed her direction.
A change was coming over her. While before she might not have been the one that would conduct violence she was feeling more of an anger inside of her ever since Kove hurt her so terribly. It wasn't long before she was close to her alpha. Instantly she geared up, red eyes surprisingly determined. She was still in hunting mode, although now it was directed at another wolf instead of a prey animal. Scarlett gave a quick nod as she came up next to Saena.
The other wasn't far off and once she spotted the others her eyes squinted suspiciously. She could see Saena was tense and her hackles raised, it was a sign that this wolf wasn't a member. Scarlett liked to hide her hurt but she was getting worse at hiding it, and often that hurt expressed itself in anger. Nanook was showing signs of it as well. It was very unfortunate for the trespasser since Scarlett was not holding back this time. It was so easy to just picture the trespasser as someone that hurt her...

She patrolled. Citali often patrolled. It was a good way to keep her mind off the disappointment that was her garden and on something else instead. Like her paws upon the damp autumn soils due to the frequent fall rains. Or the way the wind began to cool and bite through her fur. She could busy herself with these things. These simple things.
As she was wandering a howl rose. It wasn't far, but it was close. An invader! She turned immediately and ran, something of a rare sight for the healer, but after the bear, she was taking no chances. Her body was hurled through the forest and at the sight of a stranger she became something of a professional American football player. Her body was tossed, quite literally riding the heft and momentum of her burly strides as she charged to tackle, intercept this wolf, and eventually show this poor unfortunately soul what Amazon teeth were made of. No holding back.
She didn't have the grace of a silent hunter. She never claimed to.

There were few actions or things that would illicit a kill response from Reek. An imminent threat to his standing. Close talkers who give no personal space. A wolf who eats the rabbit in the cache that he's been eyeing. All of these things were despicable in the eyes of the patriarch of the wood, but more disturbing - more deplorable - than any of these was the act of trespassing. So when he heard his mate's howl, Reek was quick to respond by dropping his herb search and taking off teeth first toward the pack's most recent assailant.
He had a one track mind, he supposed, and once his eyes locked with the intruder Reek knew what he was supposed to do. Kill. He followed Citali in his approach and hoped that a two pronged approach would catch her by surprise. He was no fighter by trade, but he would defend what was his with a rabid intensity. No matter what, the trespasser wasn't leaving intact. With one final bound, Reek leapt and aimed to wrap his jaws around her throat.

Kiara heard and smelt the approaching wolves, but she refused to turn tail and run.She was a very prideful wolf, determined that she would win,no matter how many wolves there were. She lifted her head and tail like an alpha and stood, waiting for the wolves."Hit me with your best wolves!" She barked loudly.
When the big male attacked her,Kiara craned her neck, trying to bite and scratch him.

Fire had been talking to the new recruit,Ashka, when she heard the howl about an intruder. She immediatly dropped everything and took off towards the threat. When she got there, she almost chuckled from the red fae's arrogance and expectation that she could beat the Maplewood. She obviously wasn't even a yearling yet!Fire prof at the wolf, trying to hold the woman down so Reek could strangle her.
Saena twisted her right ear and then her head as the sound of Scarlett's paws on the leaf litter announced the albino. She was the newest member of the pack, but already she was proving to be an asset. The alpha didn't shoot her a smile like she would've ordinarily, but only due to their grim circumstances. She was too focused on taking down the intruding wolf.
...Who appeared to be a complete idiot. The pair of females found her first, a red-furred wolf of small stature. Not much of a challenge for Saena from appearances due to their similar size and the yearling's training, and certainly not a huge problem with Scarlett's accompaniment. Yet the brazen intruder flagged her tail and called out a foolish challenge, and this triggered Saena's need to assert her authority. This was her pack and nobody, definitely not some brazen little shit like Kiara, would ever change that.
So she flew forward with her jaws parted and her neck stretched out, and that was when she heard (and saw) Citali thundering onto the scene, with Reek in close pursuit. Fire arrived from the shadows as well. It was now five against one. Kiara had no chance of winning, and even if the bold red-haired wolf didn't know it and tried to fight it, the lead bitch did know it. She targeted the side that her husband and the large healer didn't have covered with every intent of cutting off Kiara's best escape route. She trusted Scarlett to take up the front, but was too preoccupied to communicate her hope for that.

Scarlett instantly rushed forward when Saena did. Her red eyes looking rather murderous compared to how kind they normally looked. Scarlett moved onto the female. She missed Saena's approval only because she was so into grabbing the trespasser. She jumped towards her throat, since Saena went the other direction.
Her teeth tried to clamp around her slender neck. Scarlett wasn't the biggest female either but her ferocity made up for it. She didn't even see the trespasser because of her anger. She saw her mother, and one of her siblings, even Kove. Blinded with rage she tried to grab everything that she could find close to her mouth. If she would get something she was trashing her head from side to side to make her wounds even bigger.
She wanted to kill, she was out for the kill. This wolf was no different than any of the prey she hunted. Maybe later after the female would calm down she would find shame in what she did, now, she was merciless with her attack on the trespassers front.

The calamity of the fight rose before her in sound and scent alone. The rusted leaves blinded her path, but the girl didn't need her eyes to follow the concentrated scent of the assailing wolves. She sniffed and stretched her mind to search the air again. Her mother's scent surged through her nostrils, and Nanook ducked closer to the ground. Mama wouldn't be happy to see her, but Nanook wouldn't let that keep her away. She wasn't a baby anymore; mama couldn't hide her from the world forever.
The girl came upon the scene just as the elders attacked. Her eyes locked on a wolf of ruddy fur before the wolves of the Maplewood blocked the intruder from sight with bristling fur of many shades and flashing fangs. Nanook's blood ran hot, and she concealed herself an observer's distance from the brawl. Adrenaline snapped through the air and wooed her paws to keep moving, but she steadied the urge. Every muscle grew tight and coiled. The forest swarmed with strength, and she let the emotions flood her while she watched on with copper eyes focused and intense.

Vega had been patrolling the opposite end of the borders -- an attempt to prove her worth to Saena, who had so graciously taken her in. She had yet to meet her fellow pack mates, but it was of intrigue to her when she came upon a new scent seemingly each day.. the small humble family Saena had spoken about was seemingly growing, and the ebony she-wolf was uncertain of hot to feel of such.
Uneventful, aside from marking, the female made her way through the length of the territory, an ear flicking idly to the sound of sweeping leaves as an autumn breeze blew past.
That was when the swarthy she-wolf heard the commotion -- and then, within a millisecond after her brain registered it, the scent of an unfamiliar wolf. She leapt to attention, and racing to the sounds, came upon the scuffle.
She only recognized Saena -- and later would notice Scarlett with trepidation. Leaping in to the fray, Vega swerved along the outside, a snarl issuing past her lips as she made to keep around the outside of her pack mates, in case the foolish red wolf tried to dart away. There were four adults upon her now -- death would almost be inevitable. And if she did try to escape, Vega's snapping jaws would certainly come her way as she prowled -- not pushing her way further in to avoid the confusion that would surely stem from it.

With some kind of otherworldly miracle, the invading wolf (Kiara) managed to avoid her bull in a china shop body charge all together. Citali's momentum left her to overshoot as she turned rapidly to put herself back into the fray. Reek was there. His teeth went for the female's neck. The newest white female was there in a hot second, also seeking the neck. That didn't leave much room for her now did it? And definitely not with another woman trying to pin the wolf down.
Rebounding, Citali went for the soft curve of the red wolf's underbelly (Kiara's) with piercing teeth intent to maim, wound and kill. She'd not miss this time. With half a pack, and far too many cooks in this heated kitchen, there was hardly any room for this intruder to move.

Reek felt his teeth make contact with the scruff of the intruder's neck. He clamped down even harder, hoping to squeeze the life from her with his grip. Asphyxiation was a terrible way to go, but a proper fate for a trespasser who had so blatantly disobeyed pack law— who had disobeyed instinct itself.
She struggled, but it was all for naught. She simply snapped at the air beside his ear. Thankfully the positioning of his jaws around her neck protected him from her retaliation. She would have to snap her neck herself to reach him. The odds were stacked against the intruder; an entire pack stood in her way. The only escape was in death— unless she relented now. But, unfortunately for her, Reek wasn't feeling generous.

Kiara couldn't breath. There were four wolves on her,and more seemed to come every two minutes. She suddenly realized she had two options:Surrender or die.Kiara tried to run,but couldn't get away. She wiggled out of the black male's grasp ,grabbed the scruff of the White fae on her back(Fire),and threw her.Kiara tried to make a break for it, but she could barely move. She laid down on the ground and howled pitifully.
October 17, 2015, 02:44 PM
Fire hit the ground with a loud yelp. She had landed on her left rear paw, hurting it.Fire snarled in pain in anger and ran back into the fight, dragging her paw behind her.Attacking was harder from the hurt paw and sheer amount of wolves on the red woman, and just as Fire got a good grip on her hindquarters she layed down and started howling.Fire limped to Saena"What do we do now?" She asked.
Scarlett surged forward with an impressive amount of ferocity at the same time that Kiara skittered away from Citali. The thickly built woman wheeled around and went in for another hit, and Saena was certain she met her mark on the wolf's side. Dodging it would've been difficult from there. Reek's teeth closed around the trespasser's scruff so that now three wolves had a grip on her. Vega had arrived as well and swung around the outside of the group, ensuring any escape would be swiftly cut off.
Saena was darting in when Kiara managed to shake her husband free and grab onto Fire Wolf. The alpha didn't see what happened, but she heard Fire's pained yelp and her vision went red. The warrior was a newer addition to the pack but that didn't make her any less important to Saena, who closed in on Kiara with a vicious, unforgiving snarl. The stranger seemed to realize she was done for and threw her head up in a howl... and Saena seized that opportunity to dart in and wrap her jaws around the invader's exposed throat.
She'd never killed a wolf before, but there was no regret as she squeezed her jaws tightly. Kiara would suffocate, or the pack would rip her apart before then, but either way, this trespasser would die within minutes. She hadn't had a chance to answer Fire Wolf's question, but her attack spoke volumes: Now she dies.

Couldn't have been an hour after entering the rankings of the maplewood that the alphas call rang out through the trees. Ash was quite a ways away from where the alarm had sounded but she dropped the rabbit she was holding in her maw and bolted in the direction of the voice. Whatever it was that had the alphess sounding so alarmed was clearly more important than a mid day snack.
Ash was at a disadvantage as she did not know the forest as well as some of the other wolves in the area and that meant she was late arriving to the situation. A situation that Ash would call war. Except there seemed to be only one wolf who was an enemy based on the direction of all the wolves attacked. Most of these wolves were strangers but Ash quickly spotted Fire and the Alphess. Ashka's ears drooped. She had disappointed the Alphess. Not only that but she had failed herself. She had made it her mission to become a powerful warrior and this time. She had failed. Everyone.
She was too late to this party as severe damage had appeared to be done to the intruder. Ash felt it wouldn't be worth joining in as the situation seemed completely under control. She felt as though she had failed as a warrior and began to trail slowly back into the forest. She hoped no one had known she was there. She returned for the small rabbit but her appetite had diminished so she placed the kill into one of the caches that were sprawled across the territory. She then found a small tree and lay down and drifted off to sleep. A sleep that was sure to be filled with more dreadful nightmares.

Since she was so late haha. I wanted to throw her in here though because she is a part of the pack.

Scarlett let go once she tasted some blood in her mouth. Her rage lowered once other wolves joined. With all the commotion Scarlett didn't see or smell Vega in the whole situation. That was going to be another thing. She left without saying. Scarlett would have to deal with that later. She was no upper ranked female anymore. The red eyed female felt another surge as the whole pack jumped on the trespasser. She howled, muzzle stained. She was not getting out her alive and Scarlett was letting out a howl that this was their land.
Scarlett felt another surge of anger come over her and charged forward, not a very good visual for her child that she didn't know what was watching. Scarlett mimicked Citali but on the other side. The soft belly would also be opened up from the other side. She visualized doing this to her own horrible mother. All the pain she inflicted on her when she was little. Never she had gotten so far away into her anger she always hid behind her kindness.

The scene unfolded before her, and Nanook couldn't peel her eyes away. It wasn't so much the attack of the other wolves that caught her rapt, but the fierce and dreadful fury that bristled in waves from her mother's striking form. The only times Nanook had seen Scarlett angry was when she had done something bad. Never had Nanook witnessed her terror like this. A low growl rumbled in her throat, and the reason for the Maplewood's fury clicked.
This was justice, and the elders showed the ruddy girl no mercy. They piled on her with teeth bared and ready to tear, and Nanook couldn't hold herself back any longer. Whoever lay at the bottom of the pile threatened these wolves, and from the emotion in her mother's voice, she'd threatened mama, too. For all her mother had done, she was family still, and the girl brimmed with the shaking urge to protect her in every way she could.
Her coiled muscles sprung without resistance, and Nanook pushed herself to join the elders in the fray.

Desna was always close to her mommy, so once she went exploring in this new home and she heard her mommy's howl she was quick to rush forward. There was something happening but she wasn't sure what. The dark furred girl tipped her head as she looked from the bushes at the wolves before her. She soon spotted her mother but she looked... very angry. Desna wanted to crouch down and roll over form the sounds alone. Then she spotted Nanook in there. Was she joining this fight!?
Instantly her heart went out for her mommy and for her sister. She had to help! They were protecting their new home from this wolf, at least that is what her mommy's howl was saying. 'This is our home'. Desna waddled forward and went to her mommy and Nanook. She bared her teeth cutely and quickly located the female on the ground. Desna didn't realize she was close to death but without hesitation she sank her sharp little teeth in the ankle of the trespasser, feeling super proud for helping.

Fire took Saena's actions as an order to kill Kiara. She nodded to herself and started ripping into her stomach and side.Killing wolves was no problem for her.She had killef many in her life, and she was secretly a very violet wolf anyway. Her pale white face and paws were soon a deep crimson, and she knew the woman would be ears,--by her paws or Seana's-in a matter of minutes.

The wolf tried to pull away, and cornered by the pack, fell to the ground, wailing. Vega's ears drifted back to her skull, her lips curling back as a vicious snarl ripped through her. She prowled just outside of the gathered wolves, watching as they now tore in to the foolish trespasser.
She made no movement to fuel her own outrage with blood -- there was enough of it on the ground, and her comrades had themselves handled well. Vega's eyes swept from Saena to study the others -- and bright green eyes fell upon Scarlett. Her brows arched then, her snarl not leaving her slender features. What was she doing here, away from her pack? It was then one of her rugrats even pulled up to the stranger, forcing her way past the others to glob on to an ankle -- ushering a low, growling snort from the ebony she-wolf.

Her teeth met, latching on to the female's soft underside as she yanked and pulled at the tender flesh. This female wasn't going anywhere. She was pinned beneath the teeth of several very angry wolves with a considerable number prowling around the perimeter looking for an opening. Find a piece of flesh? It was theirs. Theirs to shred. Theirs to destroy.
There was no way in hell some wolf could shout, "Come at me bro," demand to lead, and get out of this alive.
The female's whines fell on deaf ears. Citali cared for none of it. Her teeth were honed to kill and she'd give this female exactly what she'd asked for the second she dared to cross their borders. As the female sank to the ground, Citali tore into her flesh. Bit by bit this female would be torn apart by the communal efforts of Phoenix Maplewood.

Obviously, it was a folly of youth. The intruder was no more than a child herself, but she payed dearly for her childish mistake. While Reek had never been the most amicable sort, he never reveled in taking the life of another. Of course, he had killed— but only when strategically necessary. The yearling was a threat and trespasser. She would receive no mercy.
She wriggled from his grasp, but it was to no avail. Soon the entire pack was upon her and they ripped her apart. The thick musk of blood filled the air. It was pungent, but it wasn't all he smelled.
Something vaguely familiar.
He neared the corpse and smelled. He knew that smell, but he couldn't remember from where. He shot his war-torn wife a wary glance and mumbled. "Smell her," he said, still hoarse with rage. "Do you recognize it?"
