"Smokestep, eh."  A true and a nickname, much as she herself, though there was more to her own title she did not claim any longer.  It seemed a common theme in their ilk; family names didn't mean much in comparison to the crew you took part in.  "Trade up for a little mystery, then?" It wasn't a pry for information, per say, but it was certainly an invitation. "Here I've been given my name out and about, when I coulda been giving something like 'Flameye' or 'Sparksnout.'  Damn."  Well, she had been known as Starling at one point.
