All Welcome
whenever! <3

@Chacal's ongoing silence had tempered sapphique with a silence among the sounds of their earth that could be filled by nothing more.
others came and went. sapphique remained a proud empire there upon the sea-cliffs.
mireille brought cracked oysters for her sister that cold noon, offering them in pleasantry and her own quiet as gulls called from beyond their beloved shoreline.

The weight of wordlessness had not lifted, but had perhaps shifted to a part of her soul that was better able to deal with the pressure. The summer had been fair- full of temperate weather, happy children, and while they had lost packmates, they remained together still in the home they inherited.

She patrolled, and then spent time down at the beach where she felt most at home, and closest with their departed. In the whispers of the rushing tide, she imagined the voices of her mothers, and was thus able to meditate some.

The forever cure for her soul she found in the presence of her own sister, who brought a smile to her face when she came with seafood. A sad shimmer came to her eyes when she wondered how her daughter had fared- surely by now she would have given birth…And if she knew her daughter well enough, she would be craving such a delicacy again.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

together they thought of suzu, mireille sending her own thoughts scudding over the face of the world's grass. wherever the young woman had gone, etienne was with her, and it was to this comfort she made herself cling.
still the obsidian did not speak, did not venture to do so until the silence seemed to weigh upon her eyelids. "i have been t'inkin' dat it may be good if we sent young ones to hunt wid de rise wolves. to learn. we have all we need here, but it does not mean dey do not seek ot'er places."
they should learn to hunt in all climes and lands, but, as she put a shell aside, mireille realized she still did not understand why they left at all.
the loss of suzu's willingness to have her children here, a second generation; it sat hard in her very spirit.
