Smokestep strolled up right after, but if Rosalyn expected anything, it wasn't to be both ignored and somewhat shunned.  Noting Smokestep's attitude and friendliness, she quickly and accurately surmised it might be best if she just ignored that her question had been asked as well.  That was her cue.
