Oh, shit… was it really dead? She sniffed around momentarily, then snickered. Maybe it came back for revenge. I’d be careful where you sleep. The idea of a zombie frog stalking Penn was absolutely hilarious.

More likely that something ran off with it while they both slept, but that answer was boring so she wasn’t about to settle on it. Undead assassin frog it was.
Fenn is blind, and as she's older, will take all of her character insight from tone.  If you are ever uncomfortable with an assumption she makes, please let me know!
