Asking here so discord doesn't get clogged lol

Do we still have to request an inactive toon's name to be able to use it? 
I looked in the FAQ and there's a how-to on changing an account username, and this made me wonder if my maintenance request for an inactive name was still necessary? 
I'm thinking it's still needed and i haven't changed any names yet just to stay on the safe side, I just wanted to be sure <3

Usernames are unique, so if an account already has the username you want to use, you won't be able to use it for another account. That's why you need to request them to use them!
